The critical piece of home-development kit: this is where you will hold your films (one 35mm roll at a time) while they are put through the various stages of development: develop, stop, fix and wash.
An ingenious light-proof system means that you can pour the chemicals in and out of the tank in full light, and it comes with a water-tight plastic lid for when you need to agitate the film (fancy term for shaking it to make sure the chemicals get all over the reel!)
The included 35mm reel has a mechanism for easy winding when in the dark: catch the start of each roll of film and then move one side back-and-forth to advance the film quickly and gently.
