I shot this film in the winter and it suited the subject well. Deep blacks, a rather spooky look to some photos and it conveyed just how cold it was. My favourite shot under the tree arch came out well - sadly the tree is no longer there. I'm not sure that I would use it to photograph people but the results were pleasing enough overall. One picture was commended in the monthly comp (guess which?)
Super sharp, with abundant grain gives it a definite mood that's perfect for street photography in the darker winter months. You can see how it would be perfect for security systems in days gone by! Very pleased to see it back in production after a long abscence... (for reference, the sample images I've added were developed in Ilfotec HC 1:31 at 20c for 6m30s using standard Ilford agitation)

More grain than you can shake a stick at!
I had so much fun trying out this film. It performs really quite well indoors with ambient light and it's amazing outdoors with the right conditions.
Where it falls a little bit below what I was expecting is in outdoor overcast days, the grain just becomes too overpowering and the film loses a lot of contrast because of that. Whoever decided this was a high contrast film never experienced a grey murky day in the UK!
With that being said it doesn't take much light to get good results and the grain kind of grew on me.

A pleasant surprise
Used this film my first time shooting b&w and found it truly enjoyable. Used it across a range of environments and it held up in almost all of them with only a few underexposed due to poor light conditions.
Personally love the grain on this film, think it gives a sort of nostalgic feel to the shoots.
