Harman Technology
HARMAN technology Limited was formed in 2005 by former managers of ILFORD Imaging UK Limited. It took the name from Alfred Hugh Harman who founded the original ILFORD company in 1879.
At the same time the company acquired the facilities in Cheshire, England, where ILFORD photographic products have been designed and manufactured for many years.
This not only ensured the future survival of the world-famous ILFORD brand of black and white photographic products but the unique portfolio of equipment, facilities and expertise at the site also led to the exploration of exciting new applications for the technology.
Today, the company has a comprehensive service offering contract coating, converting, warehousing and distribution as well as ongoing advances in new applications for silver halide technology in sectors such as bio-medical research and nanotechnology, through a world-class R&D function and a commitment to innovation.
