Lomography has been at the forefront of the analogue revolution for decades. Starting in 1992 with some Viennese students falling in love with the aesthetic of a particular Soviet camera (the iconic LC-A) - they founded a movement and a company that would introduce a new generation to the joys of plastic cameras and experimental film. Periodically innovating new cameras for existing formats - and sometimes bringing back formats specially for their cameras! - they are vibrant and creative

This film is great to create otherworldly landscapes or portraits - particularly with a lot of green in them which then takes on the various shades of purple.
In my experience the effect is most pleasing when exposed at 200 iso. At slower speed the effect is less pronounced, at 400 I find the film starts to lose some of its clarity.
The only slight downside is that it's a bit grainier than I would have expected for a 120 film.
Once this film was announced as coming in 120 format I couldn't wait to try it out.
I have never shot it before but really liked the different look it gives when looking at the various images on the web.
I had read that it gives the best purple results when shot at 100-200 iso and that greens seem to give really deep purples which is what I did with my roll and was not disappointed.
If you want to try something out of left field then give this film a go and you won't be unhappy.
