📍 London

Meeting location: What3Words: ///actors.wasp.voters

On the South Bank walk - directly outside the Tate Modern on the side of the river, where the fence bends in slightly. If you arrive early - or want to grab lunch before the walk starts - then there is a lovely cafe inside the Tate with a view of the meeting spot.

Meeting time: 12pm

Photowalk leader: Amy Farrer @analoguewonderland @amyfarrerphotography

Antonio Pisani @pentax.film.photography @apisani_official

Andy Church @kodakprofessional_europe

Description: Starting with views of Tate Modern on one side and the City across the river (next to the iconic Millenium Bridge) - we will head west along the south bank walk. We'll pass beneath BlackFriar's bridge and notice the ghostly remnants of its predecessor – old stone columns left standing mid-river. After that comes the Oxo Tower, whose distinctive stained glass “OXO” windows are a clever remnant of a time when advertising was restricted.

Continuing along, we'll see Gabriel’s Wharf, filled with independent eateries and boutique shops. On to the London Studios, once a hub for British television, especially on Saturdays when eager fans flocked for glimpses of pop stars. Next is the National Theatre, often alive in summer with free outdoor performances, followed by the second-hand book market tucked beneath Waterloo Bridge. The Southbank Centre complex comes next, offering an eclectic mix of music, dance, and art across the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room, Hayward Gallery, and Royal Festival Hall – all buzzing with events and summer balcony concerts. As the path continues westward, we'll stroll into Jubilee Gardens before arriving at the iconic London Eye and County Hall, now home to entertainment venues like the London Aquarium and an arcade.

Just past the Aquarium we'll finish at St Thomas' garden (https://what3words.com/chew.flip.amused) with views of Westminster across the river, and then retire to a local pub (exact one tbc) to rest and hand in your film for developing.

Walking distance: 3km (1.8 miles)

Accessibility comments: There will be crowds and stairs along the main route, although we will ensure that alternative routes are available to avoid any stairs - and we will wait to make sure we all go together. It is an outside area so service animals are welcome. We will ensure that we move at a pace appropriate for anyone.

Accessibility comments: The market may be busy if you don't like crowds. There will be about 5 broad steps down which one could walk but it's not compulsory if you want to. It's a stop that can be explored from a distance anyway.

If anyone would like to borrow a camera please get in touch with Rob via Instagram (LondonCameraProject) but be quick. I can't carry many.

Sales message: My new Noir Collection is fully available in 35mm now, as well as Maverick 125 and Spectrum 400. Maverick and Spectrum are my first C41 films.

Meeting location: St Leonard's Warrior Square Railway Station (outside exit facing the beach)

If you are travelling by train from London, I recommend buying a return ticket to Hastings. On the outward journey, you will need to get off at the station before Hastings which is St. Leonard’s Warrior Square. Then when you go home, you can leave from Hastings train station, instead of walking back to St. Leonard’s Warrior Square (unless you want to!)

Meeting time: 12pm

Photowalk leader: Heather Hughes @lightninginabottleuk

Description: We'll be following the coastal route, so we'll go through Bottle Alley, the beach there if people want, then under the pier/around the pier, past and through the funfair, and then explore the other end of the beach, towards the cliff. If people want to. we can climb the steps at that end of the beach towards West Cliff (about half-way up) and then we'll walk back down with its old-fashioned and characterful shops (there are bric-a-brac shops which we can also go into), going down the Old Town. I'm planning we could finish up at The Crown pub, if it's not too busy. If the group is big I'll try and reserve a table for us (around 3pm or 3:30pm) for drinks and chat. I'll look for a back up cafe/bar if that doesn't work out.

Walking distance: 2.5 to 3 hours

Accessibility comments: The beach is very pebbly, there are steps to the beach (I think there are ramps as well), and there are a lot of steps up to West Cliff if people want the wide view of Hastings.

Meeting location: Custom House, Purfleet Quay, King's Lynn

Meeting time: 12pm

Photowalk leader: Rob Archer Beyond the Negative Photography

Meeting time: 12pm

Photowalk leader: Graeme Jago @sunny16podcast

Description: Starting form Martyrs memorial we will head away from the centre of town, along pass down an old cobbled street and make our way to the Natural History Museum. After a brief stop there so people can go take a few pictures of dinosaurs etc (entry is free and there is a toilet here) we will head through a bit of the university park, across into Jericho and to a lovely small old Cemetery/wildlife reserve.

If we've made good time to get there then we'll head across to Port Meadow and then back along the canal, finishing Hythe Bridge, about a short walk from the train and bus station, if we're running slow then we will instead head down through Jericho and back towards the centre of town.

Walking distance: 5km (3.1 miles)

Accessibility comments: Cobble street, gravel, crowds possible, access ramps to cross river. I think that most people should be able to enjoy the walk as it is, and route adjustments can be made if necessary. Walking distance: 3 / 3.5 miles (depending on choice of route)

Walking distance: 5km (3 miles)

Accessibility comments: There will be a number of cobbled streets, hills in the town and some stairs. We expect the town to be busy but shouldn't be visiting excessively crowded areas. Other than the starting (where we'll be meeting outside of) and ending location the walk is outside so dogs are welcome. Unfortunately due to the layout of the town hills can't be avoided but we can adapt around stairs if needed for mobility purposes though some of the road/path surfaces mean it is unlikely to be suitable for wheelchair users.
