just a lovely film to shoot with, the colours are unique and beautiful and the grain is very fine. a bit expensive but what film isnt these days

Great for darker shots, but also gives a nice angst to daytime ones.

Candido 400 serves as a fun, reliable alternative to other, more 'Yellow' film brands, and gives enough of a different experience to make the swap worthwhile. Always responds well and realistic colour reproduction. There's often some lovely bits of halation that sneaks its way in, giving it a little more atmosphere. Lovely film stock!

The main improvement of this roll compared to a cheaper film at 400 like ultramax is an impressive lack of grain in low light shots, especially without flash. however with the flash i was really disappointed by the skin tones and overall colour i was left with. theres a strange yellow hue that i wasn't fond of, although, to be fair, in one or two shots it actually added to the atmosphere of the photos. overall, this colour problem is a really big ick to me and i would rather pay a bit more for portra 400 or just stick to the classic gold 200 and use more flash.

Digital copies from in camera conversion. I think for digital scans the best would be to have the lab scan them for perfect results. Good colour, but in camera were slightly blue tinged.

This was the first roll of film I ever used and I absolutely love the colours and accidental abstractness it gives some images. Unfortunately I ran into some camera issues during this shoot but I guess that means its time to buy another roll.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this film but really loved the colours & overall feel of the images it produces. Will definitely use again!

I was pleasantly suprised by the colour saturation on the Candido film as they are now my favourite brand for everyday photography.

I love Candido. I love the colours which almost have a cinematic feel. The colours are rich and for low light photography I think this rivals Cinestill easily.

A really warm and well rounded stock. I got some amazing pictures in both bright sunlight and low light settings with vivid colours.

Took this film on holiday and really loved the results. The colours are vibrant and true to life. I had the settings on my lightmeter wrong for the first few shots I took on this roll which I thought would've severely overexposed those shots but they still turned out really well. Can definitely recommend for beginners.

Excellent film even in daylight and the late evening although it can require a little warming at times. Be aware that they are transfusion to a remjet free source which may mean no more red halations.

This film is likely 200T which effectively makes this a brilliant solution for those who like 800t but don't like the grain and don't mind a tripod!

This is really great alternative to CineStill 800T and yields very similar results, which is not surprising as they are both based on Kodak Vision3 500T filmstock. However, it is slightly cheaper, than CineStill 800T. Given that the high-ISO and tungsten colour-balance it is perfect for street-shots after dark, indoor photos, and gigs. However, it is also perfectly useable in daylight conditions, just note that your photos will obviously have blue cast. When shot in low-light expect moderate grain, however in daylight conditions the grain is very well controlled and similar to a 400 speed film.
