Big Film PhotoWalk 2026 - Competition Winners ๐
By Paul McKay
Huge congratulations to the winners of this year's BFP26 photo competition! All shot on Kodak UltraMax and developed by our lab as part of the Big Film PhotoWalk celebrations.
3rd Place - ยฃ25 AW Gift Voucher

ย
Photographer: Rob Miles
PhotoWalk location: Leeds
Camera: Leica IIIf with 35mm Summarcron lens
Caption: "We went into Leeds Victoria Mall for a few minutes to savour the air conditioning. Carrying a camera makes you look at things in a different way, and I noticed a skylight I'd not seen before, despite having been in the place loads of times. I thought it was worth a shot."
2nd Place - ยฃ50 AW Gift Voucher

ย
Photographer: Kawing Calvin Lauย @kcl_frames
PhotoWalk location: London (Trafalgar walk)
Camera: Pure35 Film Camera
Caption: "In the middle of a heatwave London was bone dry but I came across this large puddle of water (I assumed it was) in Chinatown. With people, buildings and rows of red lanterns against the blue sky, I thought it would make a nice reflection shot, so I decided to hold my camera as close as I dared to the puddle, the lens pointing at a slight angle upwards, hoped for the best and pressed the shutter button. I think the photo turned out pretty nice.
N.B. it was my first time using film in many years and first time using this camera (PURE35). Thank you Analogue Wonderland and Nicole for the photowalk and inspiring me to start using film again!"
1st Place - ยฃ100 Gift Voucher

ย
Photographer: Ingrid Mur (@imurchan)
PhotoWalk location: Glasgow
Camera: Nikon F100 with Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AI-s Pancake Lens
Caption: "This year, I challenged myself to take more photos of people, and the location chosen by our host was the perfect place for it: the popular Barras Street Market in Glasgow. This man was sitting there for quite a while having a phone call. I waited patiently for a moment without other passersby. I like the combination of elements, with the tough-looking motorbike on one side and the pigeon on the other."
