Konica JX Film APS Colour ISO 400 - EXPIRED

Our Price: £4.00 GBP

APS is a short-lived film format that was introduced in the 90s and subsequently killed by the digital revolution. It allows for extra information to be printed on the film at time of capture which then helps improve final image quality in the processing stages. The Konica film will provide consistently good pictures in mid-range lighting situations.

NOTE: this is expired film so the results may vary significantly from the sample images!

Konica was founded in 1873 - so technically pre-dates even Kodak! - when a pharmacist called Rokusaburo Sugiura became interested in photography. They launched their first camera in 1902 in Tokyo and continued to produce and sell film cameras and materials throughout the 20th century. To survive the digital revolution they merged with Minolta to form a new company in 2003. They have since divested, closed down or sold all their photography businesses and now specialise in photocopiers and printers.
