The Photography Show 2026: Club AW Exhibitioners
By Paul McKay
Huge congratulations to the twelve members of Club AW whose photography will be exhibited at the Analogue Wonderland stand during The Photography Show this year!
We published our 2026 intentions a few weeks ago - one of the five key themes is about investing more time and energy in elevating the work and talent of our community - and turning over our stand to photography from Club AW members feels very relevant!
If you're able to attend the Show then please do come along to see the photos - we are going to be holding a live vote for the 'People's Choice' award! - and of course there will be AW people around for if you fancy a chat and buy some film 😉
In the meantime please allow me to share the photos in digital form! So in no particular order, here are our top 12 submissions from the talented folk in Club AW:
Image 1: Alex van Leeuwen @vanleeuwen.ajt

Film: Kodak Ektar 100 | 35mm | C-41
Camera: Leica MP 35mm
“Joffre Lakes, Canada. The blue/emerald water, coupled with the reflection of the tree line in the mid-ground adds a mix of shapes, directional lines, colours and contrasts - but in a way that never feels busy.”
Image 2: Daniel Holden @dholdenphoto

Film: Kodak Portra 160 | 35mm | C-41
Camera: Olympus OM2N
“North Berwick, Scotland. After development, I immersed the negative in seawater from the location and evaporated away the water, leaving salt crystals on its surface, creating these beautiful structures which utilises the physical nature of analogue film.”
Image 3: Christopher Seary @oldbearchris

Film: Ilford Delta 100 | 35mm | B&W
Camera: Olympus OM2
“I love the contrast and detail from Delta 100. In my last house I had a big French Window that gave beautiful portrait light, and made the most of it.”
Image 4: James Brick

Film: Kodak Tri-X 400 | 35mm | B&W
Camera: Olympus OM2
“An aerial view of St Paul’s Cathedral, taken on a helicopter tour across London with my Father. It was a nice opportunity for him to see the city from a new perspective, and to capture one of the most iconic buildings in the city on B&W film.”
Image 5: Claire Penn @clairepennphoto

Film: Kodak Gold 200 | 35mm | C-41
Camera: Olympus AF1
"Half was taken at one of my weddings and half on a shoot in the summer of 2025. A very happy, accidental double exposure that I’ve been trying to recreate ever since (and know I’ll never be able to) but that’s why I love film! Also developed by Analogue Wonderland.”
Image 6: Valya Korabelnikova @valya_korabelnikova

Film: Kodak Gold 200 | 120 | C-41
Camera: Pentax 645NII
“This image was made after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, as part of my Conversation with Spirits project. It grew out of my belief that in mourning, the world itself becomes a temple. I imagined a fragile memorial made of candlelight, placed not inside a church but under the open sky, by the sea.”
Image 7: Jamie Smith @jsmithedin

Film: Rollei Superpan 200 | 120 | B&W
Camera: Fuji GS645s
"Taken on a sunny summer day in Lindisfarne Island, made to look dramatic with an infrared filter. I love the strong contrast and otherworldly look.”
Image 8: Megan B O'Hare

Film: Kodak Pro Image 100 | 35mm | C-41
Camera: Pentax Spotmatic F
“My eldest son and his new baby brother, taken on the longest day of the year during a heatwave. The early evening light was just beautiful and life affirming. What a privilege it is to be their mother.”
Image 9: Joe Brayford @brayfordphoto

Film: Kodak Portra 800 | 120 | C-41
Camera: Pentax 6x7 MLU
“I love the rich, redscale-esque colours paired with the model’s pose. Taken in the studio, this was my first time in years working with heavily-coloured gels when lighting film. This macro lens (Takumar 135 f/4) has quickly become my favourite for tighter portraits.”
Image 10: Chuck B. Bird @chuckbbird35mm

Film: Ilford FP4 Plus | 35mm | B&W
Camera: Asahi Pentax SP500
“During a sunny, lazy afternoon stroll through Jericho, Oxford, I spied a curious neighbour.”
Image 11: Michele Warren @michele.warren.75

Film: Lomography Turquoise | 120 | C-41
Camera: Yashicaflex C
“Taken in Dysart, Fife, Scotland in August 2025. A leap of faith with my first roll of this amazing film rewarded me even more beautifully than I had hoped.”
Image 12: Steve Millington

Film: CineStill 800T | 120 | C-41
Camera: Pentax 6x7 MLU
"Taken in Winter 2024 at Severn Valley Railway, Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The eery quietness of a cold night after a busy day, with subtle back lighting and halation.”
Huge congratulations!
We had hundreds of submissions - the quality and quantity frankly blew us away! So a huge well done to the twelve photographers above, and also to the many many brilliant images that narrowly missed out.
We will have to make this a regular occurrence!
