Love the grain

My first analogue film in decades, with a camera I'd never tested. I miss-set the ISO at 100 for the whole roll but I love the grainy moodiness this film presents as a result.

Excellent film.

Great all rounder, my go to.

Very pleased with the results from this film

This was (for me) a first test of this film on an old Pentax auto point-and-shoot that hadn't been used for many years, and I was surprisingly pleased with the results - in both exposure latitude, granularity and image definition. In a nutshell - well pleased!

Solid and dependable

HP5+ is just one of those films that does exactly what you expect. Have no fear, just load up a roll, set your camera settings correctly, and let HP5+ deliver the goods.

Pretty good all rounder

I've used HP5 on and off over the last few years. Really convenient for the extra speed, letting me use a dark filter or shoot on a bad day (sample shot is from a 1950s Zeiss Contina with a yellow filter on a wet day), but the grain can be very intrusive and keeps putting me off it for a while. Worth the extra cost over Kentmere Pan 400.
